In this article it explains to us some of the positive effects of technology while it also states the negative ones. It mentions that when considering English as a second language technology can be very useful. It provides one with plenty of vocabulary and an easier way to read alone.

In this article there were no statistically significant differences between paper and pen & technology. It states that computer based grammar and vocabulary practice did show a slight more positive effect on students writing than our regular pen and paper. Stating that students who interacted more with computer based programs had higher scores for composition quality than the others.
