This article was about a group of eight students who were asked to write an essay as they wished. Of course they had the choice whether to write it with pen and paper or use their laptops/computers to compose the essay that was desired. Ironically half of the students used their pen and paper while the other half decided to use a word processing program via computer. In no way were the students judged or given a lower essay score because of their decision on how to compose it. Shortly after a group of teachers then analyzed the different measures and the differences between the manual and electronic writing approaches. The teachers came to the conclusion that all students vary depending on whats available to them or what comes more convienant to them. In our case we are more of the computer type writers only because its more efficient and that much easier. Both of us were brought up in a computer based world therefore it comes very natural to get on a computer and type away.
